Pioneering

India’s first format-first skincare brand.
Built for real life, not routines.

 THE PROBLEM.

10 STEP
ROUTINES

10 step routines are unrealistic for real life. Most people abandon it within a week.

35°C+
Indian Heat

Serums and creams don’t layer well, they melt. Conventional formats weren't built for India.

Ingredient Overload

There is a new active every 3 months. Consumers are overwhelmed.

₹1,500– ₹7,000
Spent Every
6 - 8 Weeks

On 7–10 products from different brands that don't even work together.

"I only apply moisturiser on my cheeks and neck.
My forehead gets too greasy."
31F, Delhi
"I'm motivated for about five days. By day six,
I'm back to face wash and nothing else."
26F, Delhi
"I took photos of my skin and uploaded them to ChatGPT.
That's my routine."
25M, Hyderabad
"If one thing in my routine doesn't work, I'll have to spend 10 weeks eliminating one by one to figure out which one it is."

How was
Skipd formed?

We're sisters, and we're not your typical beauty founders. We built this from the outside. We came at skincare from completely opposite directions.

Sandali Jain

Sandali has had difficult skin since she was a teenager. Oily, acne-prone skin, the kind that sends you to every dermatologist in the city and makes you read every ingredient label out of sheer necessity. She studied business at Imperial College London, worked at Deloitte and Paytm, and always knew she'd build a business. Skincare became the obvious answer because she'd been frustrated by it for too long to ignore.

Janhavi Jain

Janhavi spent four years in marketing and VC, doing the zero-to-one work for other people's brands. She was good at it, but eventually she wanted to do it for herself. She's also, by her own admission, a lazy girl, not because she doesn't care about her skin, but because skincare got too complicated for something that was meant to be simple. She has never wanted a 10-step routine, and she probably never will. She just wants good skin without it taking over her bathroom shelf or her morning.

Between the two of us, we kept running into the same thing:

An industry that responds to every problem by selling you another product. None of it felt like it was built for people who have real lives and real skin, and just want something that actually works.

So we decided to build that.
Multi-functional skincare, for people who don't have time for skincare.

Your founders,
Sandali & Janhavi
